Frugal Week 1 Update

Good Morning My Dear Readers,

I hope you all are having Great Weekend!

I am spending my last days on my own before my Husband will arrive from his trip to Asia ( to be honest, I can’t wait for Him to be back!).

Sunday is going to be the day when I will tell you exactly how much did I spend  over the last 7 days. I have also decided that Sunday will be my day of shopping for the upcoming week. It will be difficult, especially for the beginning to avoid going to the shop to do the grocery but I believe this is the only way to prevent me from buying and buying.

The last week ( 12-17.11.)  was great:

I spent 14.27€ on food plus 5.9€ on my favourite Spumante (alcohol). I enjoyed my bottle of “Prosecco” while watching the Dynasty on Netflix. It was well deserved after all craziness  at work.

14.27€ include:  hair band for work, milk, 2 packs of sweet corn, water, bag of carrots and raisins, 2 dark chocolates ( 75% and 90% of cocoa )

This is my shopping for the next week 18-25th of November. I am not allowed to buy anything else before Sunday 25th. This is more than enough for me but let’s see how much of this will be left once my Hubby will back home. I got him a steak as he is tired of eating all the snakes and rice and curry in Asia. I spent 29.65€

I could go cheaper WITH FOOD

I could easily spend at least 10€ less but this is not a point. I could buy cheap bread, avoid getting expensive avocado, mango and salmon but I want to lead a great and healthy lifestyle. For the last couple of days I have been watching videos of Mums buying stuff for the family on a budget but the truth is that what they are getting is mostly crap. I do not want to eat frozen meat, cheap chocolates and bread without any nutrition value.

Last week I did 4 workouts at home which is great. Free and at home without spending 50-70€ for the GYM. Building fitness body for the Summer 🙂

Next Sunday I will show you exactly what I eat during the week.
